execute a comprehensive technology transformation, engineering a robust React-based platform with a distributed FastAPI backend, deeply integrated with advanced Cloud & DevOps architectures.
The resulting platform successfully bridged
disparate data silos, utilizing Agentic AI and seamless Data Transformation to provide real-time visibility into item stages, significantly improving project consumption management and global usability with seamless RTL/LTR language support.
The Challenge
Topsib recognized a growing fracture in modern construction management: the gap between on-the-ground reality and digital tracking. As construction projects scaled, the complexity of managing physical assets and project phases outgrew standard management tools. Topsib identified three critical hurdles that needed to be overcome to deliver a truly global, enterprise-grade solution:
- Complex ERP Integrations: The construction industry relies heavily on deeply entrenched, legacy ERP systems. Topsib needed a way to pull and push data from these systems without causing operational downtime.
- Item Stage Visibility: Site managers struggled to quickly identify the current stage and location of specific inventory items as they moved through complex supply chains and project phases.
- Global Localization (RTL/LTR): To serve a global user base, the platform required a flawless multi-language architecture capable of handling both Left-to-Right (LTR) and Right-to-Left (RTL) languages dynamically, without breaking the user interface.

How we built it
Alteron partnered with Topsib to architect and build the platform from the ground up. By combining our expertise in Software Engineering, Data Transformation, and Cloud infrastructure, we delivered a highly responsive, intelligent system designed for scale.
How this work was delivered
- Foundation and Software EngineeringWe initiated the project by architecting a scalable React-based frontend paired with a distributed FastAPI backend. This decoupling allowed for rapid data processing and a highly responsive user interface. To solve the localization challenge, our software engineering team built a dynamic rendering engine that seamlessly flips the UI and logic to support RTL languages (like Arabic or Hebrew) and LTR languages (like English or Spanish) based on user preference, ensuring global accessibility.
- Data Transformation and ERP IntegrationLegacy ERP systems are notoriously rigid. We implemented advanced Data Transformation pipelines that acted as a universal translator between Topsib and various client ERPs. This ensured that inventory data, purchase orders, and transfer statuses flowed cleanly into Topsib's distributed database, creating a single source of truth for project consumption management.
- Agentic AI and Phase ValidationTo address the challenge of item stage visibility, we integrated Agentic AI capabilities into the core workflow. Instead of relying purely on manual inputs, AI agents continuously monitor transfer statuses and project consumption data. These agents automatically validate project phases, alert managers to potential inventory bottlenecks before they stall construction, and clearly highlight the current stage of any tracked item across the supply chain.
- Cloud and DevOpsTo ensure the platform could handle the massive data loads of enterprise construction projects, we deployed a robust Cloud and DevOps environment. We implemented automated CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and auto-scaling cloud clusters, guaranteeing high availability and minimal latency for site managers accessing the platform from the field.
